Does Trident manage permits and vendor contracts for activities?

Yes. Trident handles all activity permits, vendor contracts, liability waivers, and insurance certificates. One agreement with Trident covers all activity vendors.

Can activities be combined with convention or meeting programs?

Yes — this is standard. Trident builds activity components into the broader program schedule, coordinating transportation between sessions and activity sites.

What is the minimum group size for activities?

Most activities start at 8–10 participants. Large outdoor programs can accommodate 200+. Venue buyouts vary by property.

Group activities and team building in Reno/Tahoe and Monterey.

Trident programs group activities and team building experiences across both markets — drawing on direct venue relationships rather than third-party activity brokers. In Reno/Tahoe, this means skiing and snowboarding at world-class Sierra Nevada resorts in winter, championship golf at Edgewood Tahoe, Graeagle, and surrounding courses in summer, lake kayaking and paddleboarding at Incline Village, and snowmobile tours through the back country.

In Monterey, Trident programs whale watching charters from the bay, private Monterey Bay Aquarium buyout events, Carmel Valley wine estate tastings, coastal kayaking in the cove, chef-led cooking competitions at Carmel Valley Ranch, and 17-Mile Drive scenic experiences. These aren't package tours — Trident handles permitting, vendor coordination, transportation, and on-site staff for every activity.

Team building formats range from structured competitions (cooking challenges, golf scrambles, scavenger hunts through Carmel-by-the-Sea) to low-key group experiences (private wine tastings, guided alpine hikes, afternoon on the lake). Trident matches the activity format to the group's program objectives and attendee profile, not a pre-built catalog.
